Paint Your Vinyl – Vinyl Painting Workshop

Painting on vinyl records has recently become a popular and relaxing creative activity for adults. Instead of using a traditional canvas, a vinyl record is used as the surface, which gives a different visual effect and an interesting final result.

At Atelier Madoka, we organize workshops called Paint Your Vinyl, where participants spend a few hours painting in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

How the workshop works

The workshop is simple and easy to follow. At the beginning, you receive a vinyl record, materials, and basic instructions. After that, everyone works on their own piece at their own pace.

The technique used is acrylic on vinyl, as acrylic paint adheres well to the surface and dries quickly.

At Atelier Madoka, each workshop also includes a set theme, so you always have a starting point. Our mentors prepare references and visual ideas for every session, which is especially helpful if you are not sure where to begin.

However, this is not mandatory. You are always free to follow your own idea and develop your work in your own direction.

What people usually paint

Because of the circular shape of the vinyl, people often choose designs that follow that form. These usually include mandalas, abstract compositions, floral patterns, simple portraits, or minimalist designs.

Of course, there are no strict limits, and everyone can paint what they like.

Atmosphere

The workshops are designed as relaxed social gatherings, without pressure or the need for previous experience. People usually come to unwind, spend time with friends, or try something new.

At Atelier Madoka, workshops are held in the studio in small groups, which creates a more comfortable and natural atmosphere.

Who it’s for

The workshop is open to everyone. No prior experience is needed. Participants include beginners as well as people who already have some experience with painting. Couples, friends, and small groups often attend.
